Privacy Policy

RotaLink is a private network intelligence platform operated by 6away AI FZE LLC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. For privacy questions or data requests, contact hello@rotalink.club.

When you use RotaLink, we process:

• Account and sign-in information: your email address, name, and the identifier that links your RotaLink account to your 6away ID
• Professional profile information you choose to add: profession, company, expertise, about text, languages, interests, hobbies, tags, city/country, and links (LinkedIn, website)
• Your profile photograph, if you upload one
• Contact details (email, phone) — visible only to members of your club and to the member who added you
• Club membership, roles, and approval status
• Your connections to other members, including the relationship type you choose to label them with
• Content you post: community board posts and reactions
• Invitation information when you invite someone or are invited: the invitee's name and (for email invitations) email address, and invitation status
• Search queries you enter, processed to return results
• Feedback you submit through the in-app feedback form
• Technical information needed to operate the service, such as session data and security-relevant request information

We do not collect payment information. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.

Your data is used solely to operate the RotaLink network:

• To display your profile to other verified members
• To power member search, the network map, and the path-finding features
• To send service emails (approval notifications, invitations)
• To allow your club admin to manage membership
• To keep the platform secure

We never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

RotaLink uses automated tools to assist member discovery and relationship-path calculations: AI-assisted search helps find relevant members from their profiles, and the network map computes degrees of connection and possible introduction paths between members. These tools assist you in finding people — they do not make club membership approval decisions; approval remains a human decision by your club administrator. When profile data is sent to our search engine, contact details (email and phone) are removed first.

RotaLink uses a strict visibility model:

• Private members are visible to themselves and members they personally add
• Published members are visible to other published members within the network
• Contact details (email, phone) — only visible to members of the same club

Your club admin can see your profile information for membership management purposes. Profile photos are currently stored with public read access, which means the photo file itself is reachable by its direct link.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon on AWS infrastructure in the Singapore region. The application runs on Vercel infrastructure, sign-in is handled by 6away Auth, service emails are delivered through Resend, and AI-assisted search requests are processed by the 6away Engine. Data is protected in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. Photos are stored in Vercel Blob storage. Search processing is designed to be ephemeral and member data is not used to train AI models.

Your data is retained for as long as you have an active RotaLink account. Backups and recovery copies may persist for limited periods according to the retention and recovery configuration of our infrastructure providers, and are used only for service recovery.

You can delete your RotaLink account at any time from the menu in the app, or by contacting us. Deleting your RotaLink account removes your RotaLink profile, photo, connections, posts and reactions, and sign-in link from our systems, and anonymises invitation records that referenced you. Your 6away ID is managed separately: it may be used by other 6away services and is not deleted when you delete your RotaLink account. Rejoining RotaLink after deletion requires a new invitation.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data (via Edit Profile)
• Delete your account and RotaLink data (via the in-app deletion option or by contacting us)
• Object to processing of your data

To raise any of these requests, or a privacy concern, contact hello@rotalink.club. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we'll only ask for what's necessary to do so. A request may involve your RotaLink data and, separately, your shared 6away sign-in — deleting your RotaLink account does not delete your 6away ID, which is handled by 6away. Some requests may be affected by applicable legal or technical limitations, which we'll explain. You may also have the right to raise a complaint with the competent UAE data-protection authority, subject to applicable procedures.

RotaLink uses only essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
